This time offers the best chance to spot wildlife and immerse yourself in the rainforest’s beauty. Alternatively, the Twilight Tour offers a magical experience as you witness the rainforest transform during sunset. We recommend avoiding the afternoon hours (between 12 and 3 pm) when wildlife sightings are less likely. However, these hours are perfect for horseback riding within the same park, providing spectacular views of the volcano and Arenal Lake.
Arenal 1968 Park is another highlight. Here, you can hike through rainforests and over old lava blocks on the volcano’s flanks.
