A taxi is waiting for you at the airport and will take you to the eco-boutique Hotel Ave del Paraiso in San Pedro which is the hippest district of San José, the starting point of this trip. The hotel combines the proximity to San José hot spots but offers also a green recreation area for a relaxing start to your holidays. You can enjoy meals at the Kracovia café restaurant next door or try the huge gastronomic offer in Barrio Escalante.
In the morning, you will have breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, you receive your 100% electric rental car before you take off to explore the beautiful country. On the last day of your trip, you will have some more time to get to know the vibrant capital of Costa Rica.

And if the bus is not available you’ll stay in one out of five other fairytale-like houses that are unique in every sense, they are all built from recycled materials. All over the place you hear and see animals like Iguanas, birds, frogs, lizards, turtles, and when you are lucky even snakes or caimans. The private access to the beach – only 100m away – guarantees private bathing and relaxing at a pristine Caribbean beach where you completely forget about anything that might cause you any stress.

Our hotel in Montezuma is truly heaven on earth for us. Now our Green Circle is about to close! And that is extremely unfortunate because it was a great adventure from day one.
We enjoyed our trips in San Jose, and we already experienced a lot of flora and fauna in Tortuguero. Guide Mario was great. At Hacienda la Isla we completely relaxed due to our stay in the beautiful chapel room and the delicious meals. Irma and Ivan showed us around and showed great commitment and kindness.
The latter is something that every Tico and Tica naturally seem to possess. Such as Julio in Maquenque, where we saw the toucan up close. At Rancho Margot we saw the power of what conscious choices can do with people. Your Green Circle idea is very special. Thank you for letting us experience this.
Yesterday we came back from our sustainable trip to Costa Rica. How much asphalt is there in the Netherlands and so little nature. After we got back, this was something we became aware of after our holiday and had to get used to it again. We had an unforgettable journey, during which we have seen and done so much and everything was well arranged by you, thank you so much!
