Snorkeling in Costa Rica

Cahuita National Park is a great travel destination where you can explore both lush jungle and underwater wildlife. You can snorkel among the coral reefs and you have the chance to encounter hundreds of different fish species. Cahuita itself is a small village on the relaxed Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. From your hotel, you walk to the beach in some 20 minutes and you can explore the beautiful surroundings by bike or by car. A wonderful place for swimming, surfing, snorkelling and diving.

Cahuita National Park

When you stay in Cahuita, the nearby National Park Cahuita should not be missed. Here you find pristine white beaches, beautiful bays and you can swim, surf, snorkel and dive. In the park itself you’ll spot monkeys, birds, raccoons, iguanas and sloths and when you’re lucky, you even see dolphins. Go explore your own or hire a professional guide to accompany you.

Frans and Lindy

For us Cahuita was great!! The hotel manager gave good advice about restaurants and the beaches. Second night the power went out but the whole hotel was lit with candles. Very nice! Cahuita is a charming town and we really had a lot of fun there.

Our hotel, managed by a French couple, was beautiful. Village was relaxed and during the day great atmosphere with Bob Marley from the speakers.
