The beaches of Manuel Antonio national park are truly beautiful. White sand, clear blue water and swaying palm trees, paint the perfect tropical picture.
Because of the increased popularity, the village of Manuel Antonio has also become busier. Now there’s a wide range of hotels and restaurants to choose from. If you like the hustle and bustle of a lively coastal town, Manuel Antonio is the perfect place for you. If not, you better avoid going there and stick to more off-the-beaten-track destinations such as nearby Matapalo.
When you are staying in Manuel Antonio you can book several tours including a relaxed sailing trip along the coast. Good chance that you’ll be accompanied by dolphins and/or whales. Other options include rafting, horse riding or quad biking.
Note: that the National Park is closed on Tuesday.
