Jungle lodge on the hills of Matapalo

Enjoy breathtaking natural surroundings and a touch of luxury at the beautiful boutique hotel Las Nubes. This jungle lodge is located on the hills of Matapalo, a town on the south Pacific coast. Las Nubes literally means ‘the clouds’ and this name perfectly fits with the place. The view over the hills is breathtaking and you will fully enjoy the moment. In addition, during your time here you’ll live with nature’s rhythm:  the murmur of the ocean will rock you to sleep at night and the natural `orchestra` of birds will wake you up in the morning.

Your stay here is more than the perfect ending of your holiday in Costa Rica!

Las Nubes ecolodge

Las Nubes is a small eco-friendly and self-sufficient jungle lodge. All energy is provided by solar panels, the water comes from a natural spring nearby and the food is grown in the lodge’s garden. The amiable Belgian owner (and chef!) Filip checks his bio-dynamic garden every day and he selects the fruit and vegetables himself, so you will have the freshly picked ingredients breakfast and dinner.
