Ylang Ylang Beach Resort

Patricia, originally from the Netherlands, and her American husband Lenny arrived in Montezuma more than 25 years ago and have built and expanded their beautiful hotel over the years. Both the Ylang Ylang Beach Resort and the hotel El Sano Banano are owned by them.
The hotels have now become a true family business, because their son and his wife as well as their daughter are now responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotels. You stay in comfortable rooms, apartments or safari tents all at a stone’s throw from the beach. The open air restaurant serves a great breakfast and a fantastic candlelit dinner in the evening.

Our last Green Circle destination (Ylang Ylang) was of course a fairytale. From our terrace we enjoyed great sea view and watched the monkeys in the trees, the iguanas on the beach and every now and then we spotted agoutis as well.
We didn’t do much; went for a swim and walked along the beach, but had a great time. A wonderful place.

We started our Green Circle tour at Ylang Ylang, close to the small but very relaxed surf spot Montezuma. Ylang Ylang is a place with a great ambiance, everything is beautiful and special and completely in harmony with the surrounding nature.  Several accommodations have been made by Lenny, who is the owner together with his wife Patricia. Everything he built is unique has great seaview. On the property there is a natural spring from which you can drink and a stream with a waterfall where you can swim. This is a truly unique destination and you just don’t want to leave…
